The PULVIS clutch has been used to assist electrical squirrel-cage motors in accelerating larger machines such as crushers, grinders, blowers, textile machines, conveyer systems etc. for many decades.

In addition, the PULVIS clutch provides automatic protection against overloading and compensates surge loading through smooth slip.

When the motor is started up, the PULVIS clutch turns and accelerates the machines slowly and smoothly up to nominal rotational speed.

In normal operation PULVIS clutches operate:

WITHOUT slip
WITHOUT loss
WITHOUT heating
WITHOUT wear and
WITHOUT noise

The friction element, PULVIS powder, can be changed simply, without dismantling the clutch.

Perfect functioning is only guaranteed with the "Original PULVIS Powder" specially developed by us!

Operating range: 2 to 2000 kW
300 to 3000 rpm.

For extremely high switching frequencies: Maintenance-free versions with roller bearings using the special YGL quality powder.
